Invisalign Clear Braces

Cosmetic Dentistry

In the past, achieving straighter teeth meant wearing braces and often enduring lengthy treatment times. While that still may be the best option in certain cases, now there’s Invisalign, the modern, comfortable, and fast way to straighten your teeth. Invisalign uses advanced imaging technology to design this custom orthodontic solution and create beautiful smiles.

How does Invisalign work?

Clear acrylic aligners exert gentle pressure to close gaps, straighten crooked teeth, and eliminate crowding. There’s no metal, so you won’t experience gum or mouth irritation, and unlike traditional braces they are essentially invisible. Plus, Invisalign aligners are removable. Take them out as needed – to brush your teeth, eat a meal, or attend a special event – then reinsert them to continue straightening.

What’s the average treatment time?

Treatment time depends on your individual needs. Most Invisalign patients achieve their ideal smiles within 6 to 18 months, which is much faster than traditional orthodontics. Our average cases typically take about 12 months or less.

How do I get started?

Call our Rockwall, TX dental office for your complimentary consultation with Dr. Fisher and Dr. Zitterich. We use digital photographs and scanners instead of gooey impressions to see if you’re a candidate for Invisalign clear braces. These digital scans make a 3 dimensional virtual model of your teeth and gums in the computer.

Using our iTero digital scanner, we can “straighten” your teeth “virtually” in the computer so you can “see” your end-result before you even begin! We can even direct the computer to make any changes we want to suit your individual taste. Once we “accept” your new smile as designed in the computer, Invisalign fabricates your custom aligners. You’ll wear each set in your series for two weeks, then move on to the next set. It’s that easy!
