DOCTOR LAURA RABE

Laura Rabe​, DDS – Dentist in Rockwall

Originally from Dallas, Dr. Rabe attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHSC) where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD). She then specialized in Periodontics at UTHSC and received her Certificate in Periodontal and Dental Implant Surgery.

Dr. Rabe is proficient in dental surgical regeneration, bone grafting, dental implant placement and provisionalization, soft tissue grafting, laser procedures and the treatment of chronic and aggressive periodontal diseases. Dr. Rabe is also certified in sedation dentistry and provides oral and IV sedation to help patients feel relaxed during their appointments. She has attended advanced education courses in dental implantology, minimally invasive surgical techniques, soft tissue tunneling and phlebotomy for platelet rich fibrin.

Dr. Rabe has presented periodontal and dental implant research both nationally and internationally. In 2019 at the Academy of Osseointegration, she was awarded first place in Best Oral Scientific Research for her investigation in dental implantology. She was selected to present at the SWSP John F. Prichard Prize for Graduate Research Competition. She has also presented and lectured on vertical bone ridge augmentation, osteotomy preparation, dental implant surgery, and connective tissue grafting.

Dr. Rabe’s passions include caring for patients with outstanding quality of care, compassion, and technical excellence. She strives to deliver esthetic and functional dentistry in a comfortable and safe environment.

Living in the area with her husband, Kevin, they have a golden retriever, Stella. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, running, and traveling. Her future goals include publishing dental research and practicing part-time as a faculty at the Texas A&M (Baylor) School of Dentistry in Dallas.
